Pinnekel is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. Job responsibilities
Identifying U.S. state & local tax issues related to new business initiatives, as well as tax automation systems;
Researching state and local indirect tax issues;
Preparing detailed written tax guidance and requirements for the new projects;
Manage the analysis and documentation of tax implications of new business issues;
Keep up-to-date on tax law and the organizational impact of changes;
Special projects as needed.
Required skills
Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law;
Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate;
Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding;
Be able to work with a fast paced start-up;
Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred.
Minimum qualifications
BS / BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience;
3 or more years of U.S. tax experience with a public accounting firm and / or multinational corporation.
